Last minute changes.
Do to yesterdays release I will be jumping out of the Late Model Series this season. There have been far to many changes to the car in my opinion making it way to unstable to be on the track. For lack of a more realistic option I will instead be competing in the NASCAR National Series. The cars are pretty close to the same so it is not a huge move. The one difference is the National did not get the big redesign that the LM got. The sets are fixed so that is kind of a bummer but here is my National car below sporting the JayBird.Us paint. On the road side of things I will be driving the Mustang FR500S Not being a road racer this is going to be a great season.
I am n heaven
Simply stated, the RUF RWD is among the highest performing of of the world?s high performance automobiles. At the heart of the RWD?s performance is a 3.8 liter, twin-turbo flat six engine producing 730 horsepower and nearly 700 lb/ft of torque. That?s no misprint: 730 bhp and 700 lb/ft of torque in a sleek sports car that tips the scales at less than 3300 lbs/1500 kg. Small wonder that, when coupled with a six speed transmission, the RUF RWD hits a top speed of 230 mph.
Week 13
This coming Saturday the JayBird.us Ford Fusion will be competing at Talladega Super Speedway for 15 bone crunching, metal twisting laps. This is like all Carburetor Cup’s just a fun run, no points, no hold bard fun.
Trucks at Daytona
I had a great time last week at Daytona, unfortunately the first 7 laps got cut out, on top of that I edited out the pacelaps for the only caution we had. I was not breaking and records but is was a great time.
